Tomoyuki Asano
Asano founded AIONA in October 2024 after spending the last 8+ years in management for startups. Prior to founding AIONA, he had been taking initiative to grow the business since its seed stage in 2018 as the CEO of RFLocus inc., one of the leading RFID solution providers in Japan. Before that, he engaged in oil and gas trading and overseas investment at Marubeni Corporation over 10+ years, and joined Tri-Stage Corporation in 2017, serving as CFO of subsidiary companies. He graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Law, and MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
